Brookville Campgrounds Reviews
The lady who runs the place is constantly harassing the Girl Scout Camp that is right nextdoor. She stands outside yelling and blowing an air horn when parents show up to pick up their kids.
Jul 01, 2025 · Chris SannerI am a first year seasonal here. We love our site The campground is quiet and has deer & geese The pool & restrooms are clean The owner Thea is great The other campers we met are friendly Back to nature camping at its finest Hope to be here for years !!
Aug 30, 2024 · Barbi FotiUpdate. Be very very wary and remember if she talks about other guests to you, she will talk about you too. ...count on it. And I am glad to be free.So done with this place and the owner. She is unkind and rude. All she cares about is herself. She gets drunk a lot . She will not listen. She calls you names and yells at you in front of everyone in the campground. They all know your business but not the real truth just what she wants them to know about you. She has lost many seasonal patrons over the last few years. Including me. I love that place but I will never ever go back there.
Aug 14, 2022 · SunflowerWe have been going there for the last 8 years, quite and relaxing.
Jul 15, 2022 · william meckesBeautiful location but absolutely horrible owner. Loses your check...or you pay her cash and she conveniently 'forgets' you paid her. Accuses you of ripping her off when she cannot keep her payment records straight...can't do basic math. Confronts campers on a daily basis about...fill in the blank____. In the last two months, several campers have hooked up and pulled out rather than deal with her. She is confrontational (and usually she is wrong) and plain crazy. Beware.
