Jun 08, 2025 · Charles JMy cousin rented a space at the campground it was lovely. We have kids ages 5-19 and we all agree it was one of the cleanest pools and every one had a good time. I only visited for a day but my cousin stood for a few days. Good environment to lay back appreciate nature. Adults were respectful by not smoking.
Jul 14, 2025 · Jessica CarreroIt's changed some through the years! The staff needs to be better at communicating. I get it inconveniences happen but to have everyone out of the pool for over 1 1/2 and no update on the intercom on an estimate of wait time because there was some unknown particles in pool. Long story short no updates from anyone and we sat in the hot sun and the chatter was that it was unknown how much longer, possibly another hour. So it would be nice to incorporate at least every 30 minutes an update with communication to those who planned a day of travel, paid to get into the pool area, along with a day to spend in the pool with kids 😔
Jul 25, 2025 · Jacqueline LeeBeautiful place to go camping, staff at office & contact station are always helpful & friendly. Be sure to check out the playground and attend worship services Sundays at 9:30 AM. The Mary Ann Furnace trail leads from that area as well and is not too long to take. There's dog friendly campsites & the Timber Doodle sites are closer to the water.
Jun 02, 2024 · Amber S.B.The park was amazing with a great lake to swim and canoe or kayak in. The pool gets to crowded to swim in so I think your better off at the lake. You can rent pontoon boats, canoes, and kayaks. Unfortunately, most of the water spickets for the campground were out of order. So, there was a long line to fill up after check-in since most of the sites do not seem to have have water hookups. Most of D loop is in the sun and few trees to hookup a hammock. Overall the campground was clean and enjoyable.
