Jul 20, 2025 · M PWonderful Waterfront ExperienceWe recently stayed at Duck Neck Campground on a waterfront site, and it was absolutely delightful. I'm happy to give them 5 stars for their exceptional service and amenities. The staff were incredibly helpful throughout our stay, making us feel welcome and assisting with any questions we had.The campground itself was well-maintained, with our site offering a nice view despite neighbors being a bit close. Fortunately, everyone was respectful and quiet, creating a peaceful atmosphere. The new barn/pavilion was a highlight, providing enjoyable entertainment with a DJ one night and live band on another. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of outdoor activities.Their store stocked the basics and featured really good ice cream, which is always a hit. The check-in process was easy, and we even secured a reservation for next year without any hassle. I appreciated their flexibility when I requested a change to another site for our future visit. The campground is clean and well-kept. The bathhouse was clean every time we used it, and we really enjoyed the path through the woods—no trash anywhere, just a nice walk through nature. The seasonal campsites also looked like they’re being taken care of, which speaks to how well the whole place is maintained. While there was a fee for Wi-Fi, it was reasonably priced and worked well throughout our stay, ensuring we stayed connected when needed. Overall, Duck Neck Campground exceeded our expectations, and we're already looking forward to our return visit next year.
May 27, 2025 · Cathy KratovilGreat spot to RV. Everything you need for fishing, boating and crabbing. I wish the store had better bait options. The pool was nice but crowded and the staff were friendly. It’s a Pay WiFi that didn’t connect but the staff helped us out so that I could get on with a temp account. Ice Cream was yum!! Had a nice time. Not the highest end campground but good for the true camper!
Jul 14, 2025 · Tina MedagliaI rated the rooms as campsite. The campsite was an A+. The owners have redone the campsites. They are no longer too close together and they have added a circular patio ring around the fire pit on all the visitor campsites. It is very useful, clean and safer when using your camping chairs. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. The camp store was well stocked. Everything was reasonable priced. The handscooped ice cream was a delicious brand and delicious. The swimming pool was refreshing and clean. They had a Saturday night DJ/dance in the new barn style pavilion. They added outside seating, fire pits by the pavilion to gather with family and friends. I was sent an email offering to extend my stay. You just click the button and it's done. They have a big dock to fish or crab off of, and a boat ramp for guest with boats to use.I have camped here occasionally in the past 15 years and always had a good experience. The new improvement's and friendly staff make you feel like family. I will be camping here more often. I recommend this family campground to all.
Jul 16, 2025 · Kelly PenixDuck Neck is one of my favorite places to go camping! The staff is helpful & friendly. The property is clean, well kept & great quality especially with all the latest upgrades. Also, although there have been many upgrades the costs to camp there is still very affordable. If you’re looking for a clean, friendly, classic camping spot that is affordable on the water this is the place!
