Pine Haven Campground Reviews
The cabin was full price even though it was off-season. We could've stayed at a hotel right on the beach at these prices. Our air conditioning was not working nor could they repair it during our stay. The key to our cabin did not work. It stayed unlocked most of the weekend. We had to keep our valuables locked in the car. There were no golf carts to be rented for the weekend, although we were assured there would be. They promised us a lot but actually delivered very little. There was rarely anyone to talk to about our concerns. They wasted no time cashing our check. Clearly, this place is only interested in the money! Not at all concerned about the comfort & and well-being of their guests. We will definitely not be back!
May 15, 2025 · Harry BottinoThe women at the front store was beyond nasty. We were renting a golf cart and she was so rude, she couldn’t be bothered. The cabin key did not work we had to go back and forth three times to get a new key because they do not answer the phone. They told us they could not put us in the front because they were fully booked, the whole time we were there , there was 10 or 15 cabins that were not rented in the area we wanted. No activities, the store closed very early, no food just snacks. The cabin wasn’t too clean and didn’t look like the sheets were changed. For the price I would never come back here again.
Jun 10, 2025 · Kerri WeismanGood place, I've been renting a cottage for 8 years, but this year we went on July 4th, but before, at 11:30 you couldn't make noise, but now it's 12:30 and people are playing in the lake, people with golf carts driving like crazy. If it's not allowed like this anymore, I've already told my wife that we have to think about another place because the noise that people make after 12 midnight is too much.
Jul 05, 2025 · Vico MongeHad an ok time. Spent most of it cleaning but otherwise yeah. We did get stuck next to a sewage hole so our site smelled terrible. If you stay make sure you rent a golf cart not only is it going to come into handy but your children will love just driving around the campground. They have a small store and a heavily overpriced and probably unsanitary place called ziggy’s they make food. They also have a rec center with weird hours but has video games and board games for kids to hang out. There’s a main lake with a dog lake side, two pools and a fishing lake. The quality of furniture such as the fold out futons is horrible. The mattress is nonexistent hurts to sit and double hurts to lay on. The sheets were ok but the blankets were corse and see through and the pillows were so flat. We bring our own pillows and linens for this reasons. We read in over reviews that they’ve charged people for make up stains on towels, so we didn’t use any of their towels the whole time. That means you need bath and swim towels, and something to use as a floor towel.Oh and there’s no WiFi at least not for free. You have to purchase third party WiFi. It barely worked so idk if it’s even worth it.
