Jackson Acres Reviews
So far after 5+ years; for the most part the experience has been a nightmare. So, right now I am frightened to even say anymore! I'll leave it there..........
Jun 17, 2025 · Mary K WalshUPDATE - 06/07/25 - One house replaced, another across the street has a slab poured and looks like it is almost ready to be delivered. Area still looks like crap not being maintained, as does a lot of this place. Nothing exciting going on. A few get togethers at clubhouse, but nothing that really draws any people in, but at least someone is trying something. Summer is here so we can look forward to the same people taking over the pool with their hundreds of grand kids all over the place. Another year and still no street sweeper in sight. Usual flooding on corner of Lisa Lane and Judith Way, as it has been for the last 10 years. I guess it is too much trouble to take some of the outrageous rent we pay and get it fixed. Still a depressing place to live that you lose all hope of anything good happening for you in a place like this. As soon as you drive into the development, all hope is lost and depression and sadness sets in. Love this time of year when most homes have all the weeds growing all over the sidewalk and street and the lots are nice and over grown and unkept. But hey, don't forget, you can't park on the street!!!!UPDATE - 6/14/24 - Two houses knocked down. Thank You. Hopefully these and the other empty lots are kept clean. Now onto the removal of all the weeds in all the sidewalks/street, get the street sweeper in here, start getting activities and things to do going, get this place lively and woken up.UPDATE: Management has signs up once again telling residents they can't park on the street over night. They claim it may "crack" the curb! Heaven forbid! We wouldn't want a cracked curb to take away from the lovely things they do not care about like empty lots with dilapidated homes, weeds growing and trash all over the place. Why worry about the rest of the sidewalks and roads that are falling apart. Don't worry about getting a street sweeper in here once or twice a year. Have not seen one in 5 years! Those weeds growing out the cracks and side of the street at 75% of the homes look real good. Yeah, nothing to worry about but cars parked over night! And just what do they think they are going to do to anyone who does have their car parked overnight? Fine them? Yeah. Good luck trying to collect on that one! Jackson Acres. Continuing the proud tradition of ghetto, trashy living a day at a time!-------------------------------------------------UPDATE: New owners. Stop signs FINALLY installed at 4 wayintersection that almost no one here seemed to realize means YOU STOP! New owners hopefully installed them or Jackson Acres finally got sued. Hopefully they actually have events and things to do that people care about other than the occasional pot luck dinner or card games that seem like the only entertainment that has ever been here. How about some holiday barbecues, cash bar, music, etc. An antique show would be nice with people who are looking to buy and sell who can set up tables. Maybe a few tv's with food and drinks offered during football season to get people together? ANYTHING!!!!This place is just a place to live in and waste away. Summer is almost here so the select few will have their millions of grand kids running around the pool. At least they make the place seem somewhat alive.PREVIOUS REVIEW...............................................................LOL! Someone here reviewed and said the place is well maintained. I guess they must think Newark and Camden are well maintained too! NOT EVEN CLOSE! Management does nothing to clean place up. Does not enforce keeping sidewalks and fronts of houses trimmed, nor does not do it themselves for those who can not, but stupidly worry's about cars parked on street. Priorities???? Weeds all over the place growing in the streets and around curbs at mailboxes and main entrance. Place is a senior citizen ghetto in reality. Thank you to the residents who actually care and take the time to work on their yards.
Jun 08, 2025 · al bundyThis is by far the WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER LIVED!! The managers have nothing better to do then get involved in everyone’s business. They called the police because I had 3 friends over and two cars out front. I couldn’t believe it when they showed up. The managers have some of the people who live there spy on you and then report back to them to fill them in on what you are doing. The one manager is a retired probation officer or something like that and he uses every pull he has to have the police come and do what he wants.. All the other neighbors that are normal and not drunks say the same thing. They can’t stand the management!!!!! Take my advice and do not live here!! They have no lives and they try to interfere with yours. These people are happy when they can get you in trouble for anything. WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE LIKE TO SEE OTHER PEOPLE FAIL!! ?? Not good people . Not people I want to live by.
Nov 05, 2024 · WillNew Management should be ashamed of themselves. No regard for the innocent lives of the cats they are trapping and killing. They don't care if they are someones pet or previously fixed as part of the tnr program that is going on. If there is no regard for innocent animals there is definitely no regard for people there either.
Jul 13, 2024 · Crystal ShandelierA disgusting place owned by people who are trapping and euthanizing local cats that were fixed through a TNR program. The owners should be ashamed of themselves. A lot of time, money and effort went into reducing the local cat population humanely and these cretins are destroying it.
