Navy Earle MWR RV Park Introduce
For RV enthusiasts and travelers in New Jersey, particularly those affiliated with the military, finding a comfortable, secure, and well-equipped place to park your home-on-wheels is paramount. The Navy Earle MWR RV Park in Colts Neck, NJ, offers a unique and convenient solution. This isn't just a basic campground; it's a dedicated facility providing essential amenities and a sense of community, all within the secure confines of a military installation. For eligible New Jersey residents, whether you're active duty, a veteran, or a DoD civilian, this RV park serves as an excellent base for exploring the diverse attractions of Central Jersey and beyond, without having to venture far from home.
The concept of an MWR (Morale, Welfare, and Recreation) RV Park is distinct from public campgrounds. These facilities are primarily designed to support military personnel, retirees, and authorized DoD civilians, offering affordable and secure lodging options. The Navy Earle MWR RV Park provides a no-frills, yet highly functional and reliable experience. As one reviewer noted, it’s a "really small park but there's room to navigate around the pads," highlighting its practical layout. Another mentioned, "There's not much shade, but it has full hook ups and you will be close to everything." These insights speak to the park's focus on essential services and convenient access, prioritizing functionality and location over extensive recreational amenities often found in larger, more resort-style RV parks.
Being located on a military base brings inherent benefits, including enhanced security and a generally quiet environment. This peace of mind is invaluable for many RV travelers. While the park might be "small," its compact nature often translates to a more manageable and less overwhelming setting, allowing for easier navigation and a more intimate feel. For those who prioritize full hookups (water, sewer, electric) – a crucial convenience for any RV owner – Navy Earle MWR RV Park delivers consistently, ensuring a comfortable stay without constant trips to dump stations or concerns about power availability.
Beyond the practicalities, the park offers access to various MWR facilities and activities on base, providing additional opportunities for recreation and community engagement that might not be available at civilian campgrounds. This makes it more than just a place to park; it's an extension of the support and services offered to the military community. For New Jersey locals eligible to use the facility, it's a fantastic resource for short-term stays, a base for visiting family in the area, or simply a secure and affordable option for a local getaway with their RV.

Enjoying my stay so far. It’s a really small park but there’s room to navigate around the pads
Jul 05, 2024 · Adrian RendonThere's not much shade, but it has full hook ups and you will be close to everything.
Jun 27, 2025 · Mike BNice concrete pads and patios. Truly lives up to the name deer run. Deer are everywhere. I'll be back.
Jun 24, 2021 · Jim MendicinoWow this small out of the way base has wide spacious concrete sites, we were so surprised and happy. We stayed two days on our way up the east coast. It was a great break for us and they have an amazing Delicious Orchards grocery store that is huge and carries everything. Unfortunately we went on a Saturday and it was so busy you couldn't hardly walk through it. If you are traveling up the east coast and want a nice place to stay on your way, this is it!!!
Nov 08, 2018 · jill caddellOne of the best RV parks we have been to. This is our third time staying here over a period of five years. It is a military (retired and active duty) only park on Earle Naval Weapons Station in Colts Neck, NJ. There are 15 RV sites with concrete pads, electric, water and sewer hookup. The rate is $25/night. Worth every penny! Like living in a peaceful park with deer everywhere. Very nice.
