Skyline RV Camp Reviews
This place is phenomenal. The views are next level amazing and you are walkable to everything, including the subway. Great, safe neighborhood with everything you need within walking distance. Hands down my favorite spot in our 7 month RV trip. However, if you’re looking for a traditional RV resort, this is not it. It is a parking lot. No grass, no water at each site and no sewer hookups but they have a guy that comes twice a week you can pay a few dollars for emptying. And if you have a rig over 12’6”, watch your clearance!!!!! Even the interstates have low clearance areas. Do your homework but wow is it an absolutely fantastic spot.
Jul 14, 2025 · Brandy StanleyWould leave a five-star review except for the bathrooms, we were here for several days before any of them were cleaned and the smell was not exactly pleasant. On the plus side the location is great, the view is amazing, and the camp host is attentive and helpful. It's basically a parking lot right in a busy area of Greenpoint, Brooklyn with lots of cafes, restaurants, bars, etc. nearby but tucked just far enough away to be quiet.
Jun 01, 2025 · The Beetle's DilemmaCamp host need to move his RV to the back of the camp site - he should not have the best views - that should be for the paying customers. The gate need to have a security code for the customers to key in the code for access to the park. This will eliminate the calling, having the camp host open, or having the customer get out of their vehicle to open the gate.Repave the entry access and the parking lot to the park. In order to have an easier ride (really bumpy) into the park and beautify the aesthetic of the parking lot.Need to have dedicated water point for customers to fill water tanks. It would be easier, if the RV's could pull into a water point; instead of having a hose hookup and moving your RV.Any customers staying over two days should have at least one dumping service added on to their bill automatically. Especially, since there are no sewer dumping on the RV lot.The views are spectacular! Nice location by the river; very relaxing and serene! Very convenient location to the New York City; either by ferry or subway! Can walk to to local shops and eateries in Brooklyn. My rating is actually a 4.5 stars; however, the system, does allow for adding the additional .5 star rating! Wonderful stay, would return again!
May 10, 2025 · Marty McGregorWe had a great experience on our recent stay at the Skyline RV park. This place is located very close to the subway, ferry wharf, restaurants, parks and other attractions making transit over to Manhattan a breeze. We felt safe and our van secure during our stay and would recommend this place to anyone.
Jun 30, 2025 · Daley MartinThe place isn’t bad — the structure is actually good! There’s plenty of space, and there are a few camping benches that I hope will be arranged better so the place doesn’t look so abandoned. The only thing I really don’t understand is: with so many bad reviews about the bathroom cleanliness, why hasn’t that changed?Man, the bathroom is disgusting, and it wouldn’t take much to fix it. If someone just came by once a day to clean, it would already be so much better. The overall structure is solid — the shower is excellent, but everything else is just gross. If the price were lower, we might understand a bathroom in that condition. But with the amount we paid, there’s no excuse — they could definitely hire someone to take care of it.
