Whitetail Woods Camper Cabins Reviews
This is a great-close place to get-away at. If you go hiking/snowshoeing at most hours, it is simply serene. I think it’d be a good camper cabin for younger couples with a kid or two.
Dec 21, 2024 · William RathjenDespite facing the extreme cold of a polar vortex at -12°F, our stay at Whitetail Wood Camper Cabins was nothing short of exceptional. The cabin provided a warm, clean, and cozy refuge from the harsh elements outside. Despite the frigid temperatures, we braved the weather and enjoyed cooking steaks over the fire pit, adding an adventurous touch to our winter getaway. The overall experience was nothing short of amazing, and I can't wait to return to Whitetail Wood Camper Cabins for another unforgettable stay.
Feb 06, 2024 · Peter O'BrienComfortable modern cabins with heat and electricity but no running water. The Prairie View Cabins also have air conditioning. Advanced reservations are required, but last-minute openings do happen. A shared restroom and separate shower rooms are kept clean by an attendant. We received several inches of snow overnight, and the paths and parking were cleared early in the morning. Views from the cabins ranged from deep woods to rolling open prairie. Nearby trails and paths lead deep into the park. There is a long sledding hill, play area, and picnic shelter a short drive away.
Feb 02, 2023 · David VingeThe most beautiful camper cabins we've ever been in. We stayed in the prairie cabins which are brand new. The view is beautiful over the prairie and the dusk firefly show was amazing. My son says it's cheating to stay there because there's AC and comfortable mattresses. We've stayed in the forest cabins as well and they're also very nice and you feel like you're in the trees as they're elevated.
