4.0
Great winter cabin. Cozy with character. Well stocked. Their local cleaning person is awesome and made the trip perfect. She snowmobiled ahead before our check in. Made a fire and cleared the trail. Shoveled snow so we could access more firewood and stacked wood inside the cabin. The sauna was set up! Your local contact makes all the difference. The living room furniture is comfy and meant to enjoy the snow. Climbing up the stairs was fun. We will be back. - Ady Caballero

Trillium Lake Basin Cabin Introduce

For Oregonians, the call of the wild is often answered by the majestic Cascade Mountains, and at its heart lies Government Camp, a beloved destination for year-round adventure. Nestled in this iconic landscape is the Trillium Lake Basin Cabin, a true gem that redefines the "camping cabin" experience. While many envision basic shelters, this cabin offers a distinctly elevated stay, blending rustic charm with thoughtful comforts, particularly shining as a winter haven. It's not just a place to sleep; it's a cozy, well-appointed base camp for exploring the breathtaking beauty of the Mt. Hood National Forest.

Oregon locals cherish their access to diverse natural landscapes, from rugged coastlines to dense forests and snow-capped peaks. Trillium Lake Basin Cabin is ideally situated at 32798 E Mineral Creek Rd, Government Camp, OR 97028, USA. This prime location places it deep within the Mt. Hood National Forest, offering unparalleled access to one of Oregon's most beloved natural attractions: Trillium Lake. Government Camp itself is the highest community on Mt. Hood and serves as a central hub for all types of mountain recreation, from world-class skiing and snowboarding in winter to hiking, biking, and water sports in the warmer months.

Accessibility varies significantly by season, which is a key consideration for local Oregon users. In the warmer months (typically late spring through fall), the cabin is accessible by vehicle, providing straightforward driving access.
