Mar 06, 2025 · Mark DerouinWARNING: I have lived here going on 4 years & my husband 10 taking over home after his mother lived here for years. We have bushes in back yard my husband has ALWAYS taken care of UNTIL we began being harrast & myself stalk by neighbor. Reported to "management" that our "side" of bushes & height were being cut by neighbor so he could invade our privacy with cameras & lights in our bedroom window the "management (no such thing) encouraged us to go to court to get Harassment order or call cops because that is their way of dealing with Any privacy or hostile situation just to cause more trouble & humiliate you with the community (unless you are part of the "click") (getting drunk at community center on card night BYOB) there are cameras overlooking our property in bushes trees on roof & sheds also antenna on Shed which is against the bylaws but depending on who you are the bylaws DO NOT STAND! I was told it was a bear putting lights up on my side of property & neighbor was aloud to cut bushes behind his shed on my property. Long story short, Not a safe place if you want privacy or management on your side after they promise to be if you take action with harassment order/stalking order. They will Two face you & judge you! Nobody really knows place so "call cops" its OK to put cameras up & shine lights in neighbors bedroom. To this day I have lights & stalker in my bedroom window & private areas as he leaves dog off leash(against rules) and has to chace in my yard or direct neighbors. You don't know who lives 20ft from you. You can cut neighbor bushes or plants down & take solar lights & don't care about privacy concerns, unless it suits them just to be vindictive just like threats of taking OURbushes down so we will have No privacy! The construction work is non stop it's not peaceful & they don't have decency to call or let you know in any way that Road will be closed which left me without my nurse for a day because there was NO ADVANCED NOTICE! I have cut my foot just walking in yard because they ripped up yard to get to neighbors went overboard (there was no reason to ruin property the way they did) used horrible cheap soil company ( maintenance workers own words) with glass, tires, pieces of tail lights from cars etc. & never made right. I am disabled & they leave yard uneven driveway & yard ripped up where I am unable to even walk out to street! They keep park clean in appearance but most of the time the pool doesn't work, you can't play music. There was a community picnic my husband played at & the grill caught fire, well the used fire extinguisher to put out flames (of course) at same time they ruined my husband's guitar with fire extinguisher & couldn't play after that & NOT ONE PERSON IN COMMUNITY SAID ANYTHING BUT,they got a grill donated. That is my review on place & I have heard very similar stories, never mind your property line changes every year or so. Think it's a "what can I do for you deal" I don't know. & Beware there is wildlife & your neighbors will feed cats & skunks & there's no sense in reporting to office because it's just your word even if you see it with your own eyes like everything else. You will be called a liar or it will be ignored if you are not family,or foe. Skunks will cause enormous amount of damage to your mobile home & your neighbors won't look out for you they will let woodchucks, skunks, fox & other wildlife ruin property while knowing you have critters living under your property. Nobody looks out for each other but everyone is in your business all without knowing the facts. Just Gossip. Never confront the truth. Property line? Please! A dot under summer bushes defines property line. Oh then the wonderful dog park hahaha only 1 dog at a time 30min. Limit and no you can't bring a ball or any kind of toy to throw or play with your fur babies! Rules are made up as they go.No management no structure! I paid dues 3 times in a year then again was told I didn't pay so I don't get newsletters & can't go to meetings but my money was stolen. I know this has happened to more people than myself.
Nov 30, 2023 · Lisa DiazThere is always some kind of construction being done it is never quiet if you need work done they do not have time or they do not know what they are responsible for like the slab you rent on the property to the porch for example. They have no empathy for privacy. We had to get Harassment order on neighbor after Hampden Village encouraged us to do so but then in turn gave our harraser permission to cut height of OUR bushes & continue to put cameras aiming at our bedroom window AFTER THEY PROMISEDTHEY WOULD HAVEOUR BACK! With evidence showed cameras & light on antenna only to be told "its his property he's aloud to put cameras wherever he wants" even on side of shed which is my property side. ITS A BAD DREAM! NO PEACE & QUIET & I speak for many! Cheap living. Get what you pay for.
